Privacy Policy
Think is an iOS and watchOS app developed by Ivan Terziev (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what data the app handles. The short version: Think does not collect any data.
What we collect
Nothing. Think has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs. The app makes no network requests to us or to anyone else on your behalf.
What stays on your device
Everything you create in Think is stored locally on your device:
- Journal entries and daily answers are stored in a local database on your device. They are never transmitted anywhere.
- Progress data (streak, focus sessions, path progress) is stored in local app storage. Progress on iPhone and Apple Watch is tracked separately. On each device, it is shared between the Think app and that device's widgets or complications through Apple's App Group mechanism. This data is not transmitted to us or to third parties, but it may be included in Apple device backups depending on your settings.
- Settings (appearance, notification preferences) are stored locally.
If you delete the app, its local copy of your data is deleted with it. We have no copy. Note that Apple device backups may retain a copy of your data until those backups are also deleted, and Apple Watch data stored on the Watch is deleted separately when you remove the app from the Watch.
Notifications
The daily line notification is optional and scheduled locally on your device. No push notification service is involved.
Photos
If you save a quote card or wallpaper, Think asks for write-only access to your photo library. The app only adds the image you created; it cannot read your photos.
Feedback
“Share an idea” and “Report a problem” open your own mail app with a pre-filled draft that includes the app version and iOS version. You can see and edit everything before sending. Sending the email is your choice, and the contents are handled like any normal email you send.
Children
Think is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any personal information — from anyone, of any age, as described above.
Future changes
If a future version of Think adds features that change any of this (for example, optional sync), this policy will be updated first and the “Last updated” date will change.
