Common questions
Where is my journal stored?
On your device. If you are signed in to iCloud and iCloud is enabled for Think, a copy also lives in your own iCloud account, so your journal follows you to a new phone. Think has no server and no account of its own, and we cannot read your entries. See the privacy policy.
How do I turn iCloud sync on or off?
There is no switch inside Think; iOS controls it. Open Settings → your name → iCloud, find Think in the list of apps and turn it on or off. The Profile → Settings → iCloud sync panel in the app shows the current state and the time of the last successful upload.
My entries are not showing up on my other device.
Check that both devices are signed in to the same Apple Account, that iCloud is enabled for Think on both, and that they have been online for a few minutes. If the iCloud sync panel reports an error, opening Think again once you have a connection usually resolves it. If it keeps failing, email us with what the panel says.
How do I back up or export my journal?
Profile → Settings → Export journal creates a plain-text file you can save to Files, share or print. If the journal lock is on, you will be asked to authenticate first.
How do I lock my journal?
Profile → Settings → Lock journal. Think then asks for Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode before showing entries. The setting needs a device passcode to be set.
How do I delete my data?
Profile → Settings → Delete all data removes your journal, drafts, progress and reminders from the device and, because deletions sync, from your iCloud too. Mindful minutes already logged to Health stay in Health. Deleting the app alone removes local data but leaves any iCloud copy in place.
I missed a day — is my streak gone?
The streak resets, but nothing else is lost. Begin again; the practice matters more than the number.
How do I change the reminder times?
Profile → Settings. The daily line notification and the evening retrospective reminder each have their own switch and time. If the app reports that notifications are off, allow them for Think in iOS Settings.
Can Think log my focus sessions to Apple Health?
Yes, optionally. Turn on Profile → Settings → Log focus sessions to Health and grant access when asked. Completed sessions are saved as mindful minutes. Think never reads your Health data.
Does the Apple Watch app need the iPhone nearby?
No. The watch timer runs on the watch itself. When your iPhone is reachable, completed watch sessions are sent to it and count toward the same streak, and the watch's streak complication mirrors your iPhone progress. The journal is iPhone-only.
